Who is for Ski wax If you are interested, you should know that it is a covering that can be applied to snowboards and skis. Directly at the sliding surface, there is the water-repellent effect and thus the friction can be prevented. Melting water occurs in wet snow due to temperature or pressure on the ski on snow. Essentially, the ski waxes consist of hardener and paraffin, as well as additives such as molybdenum and fluorine, so that the friction is reduced and thus dirt and water are repelled. The Ski wax is available for ironing, for rubbing, for spraying, in liquid or even solid form. In which Ski wax must be noted that this is for different temperature ranges and colors.
