Vacuum Cleaner Electric Brush Guide

If you clean a carpet or a carpetwith a normal one vacuum cleaner, this is sufficient in many cases. Over time, however, more and more dust and dirt accumulate in the pile of floor coverings, which can no longer be removed with a normal suction nozzle. In the past, therefore, carpets were regularly carried outside and suspended above the carpet bar by heavy blows with the carpet beater to the bottom of the pile cleaned. Whenever possible, a fresh blanket of snow was used to clean carpets. The wet snow served as a catcher for the knocked out dust. Carpet rod and knocker were, however, more and more displaced by the much more comfortable vacuum cleaner with electric brush and are now almost no longer in use. Vacuum cleaners with electric brushes were originally developed for the commercial sector and are the ideal cleaning equipment for heavily used carpets and carpets.

The electric brushes in vacuum cleaners are in a sense compact carpet beaters with their own drive. The roller-shaped brushes rotate in the suction nozzle and move the pile of the carpet. By the movement, the suction of deep-seated dust and dirt is much easier and often only possible. In particular, hair in any shape are a big problem for normal suction nozzles. Pet owners know how difficult it is to remove stuck hair from carpets and rugs. Although hair is light, it provides little resistance to the airflow and can get caught in the flooring due to its length and structure. The electric brush of a vacuum cleaner returns the hair from the pile, so they can be caught by the air flow and sucked. Another advantage of vacuum cleaners with electric brush is the general care of the flooring. Through the brush, the pile is erected again and the structure of the soil is better again to advantage. To ensure perfect cleaning with a vacuum cleaner with electric brush, the height of the roller brush must be able to be adjusted to the height of the carpet or the carpet. Particularly comfortable are electric busts, which automatically adjust to the height of the floor covering.

The Miele complete vacuum cleaner C3 is a vacuum cleaner with electric brush of the upper class. The electric brush has an LED light barfor optimal illumination of the cleaning area and is adjustable in height. The brush can also be used to vacuum other floors.

Virtually every renowned vacuum cleaner manufacturer today has vacuum cleaners with electric brush in the product range. Many years ago Hoover started with his tappets and Vorwerk with the Kobold vacuum cleaners. In recent years, AEG, Miele and Siemens have also developed vacuum cleaners with electric brushes and launched them on the market. Originally the vacuum cleaner with electric brush were relatively heavy equipment and the electric brushes very large. Brush and dust bag were attached together to a central tube. Modern vacuum cleaners with electric brush are now available with a long, flexible hose on which the brush is mounted on the front. These devices are much easier to handle and lighter.

Meanwhile, electric brushes for vacuum cleaners are also offered as accessories. Unfortunately, not every vacuum cleaner can be retrofitted with an electric brush. For the electric brush, there must be a separate power connection on the device. Electric brushes should not be with the so-called Turbo brushor mistaken nozzles. Although turbo brushes also have a roller brush, these brushes do not have their own drive and do not reach the cleaning performance of an electric brush

Anyone planning to buy a vacuum cleaner with an electric brush should remember that an electric brush is not suitable for every carpet or carpet. In particular, very long-pile carpets, such as flokatis should not be cleaned with an electric brush, because they can be damaged and wrap the long fibers very quickly around the brush.
