What should be considered when buying?
There are of course plenty of offers on the Internet, but often promise the seller more than can be subsequently held. A flycap looks similar to a screen, with the mesh of the fabric being very small. So light and air can come to the covered food. However, the lower edge is also important here, because this should rest firmly on the surface. Also, there should be no air hole above, because flies can slip through quickly. This is especially true for fruit flies, because they are tiny. If the lower edge is not properly placed on the table, then they can freely gain access to the covered table. This also applies to fly hoods, where the stitches are too coarse, then this is no problem for this tiny culprit, but to get to the coveted fruit. Therefore, special attention should be paid to these things, which is often quite difficult. Especially if then one flycap there should be ordered, because of course, the seller promise a lot, which then much is not kept. What can stop these fruit flies is when there is a small border at the bottom. This then holds everything really, even if the edge is not tight. Also on this one should be respected, whereby in the pictures, all fly hoods are always firmly on the underground. The look is usually the same, because the fly hoods look like little umbrellas. Only in terms of price and processing, these differ, which then just on the Internet, the selection can be difficult.

The size can be decisive
Who has a lot of fruit, of course, has a corresponding flycap to buy. This is exactly where the flying hoods differ, as well as in shape. These are slightly angular or in semi-round, which then already the variety is exhausted. Only the lower edge can really be crucial here, whether this really really ends with the table or the edge. Exactly here many customers are dissatisfied, because the fruit flies are very adept at this and simply slip through. The price is not a criterion in this case, because there are fly hoods already under three euros. These are mostly supported by a kind of net with light metal bars. However, there are also hoods made entirely of stainless steel, which are then warped at the bottom. Thus, then again the small pests can slip through. A really perfect flycap does not exist, especially when it comes to fruit flies. Most people buy them for this, but then there is a small success. Wasps and other insects are safely kept away, and the plague with the fruit flies is often done by itself. Because whenever it gets cold, then they are gone. Unfortunately, that will not help much during the summer, but with one flycap These can no longer unhindered to the seductive fruit. There is no perfect solution for the fly hood, which is a pity.
