The basic principle of geomag

The basic system of geomag consists of small steel balls and plastic rods, which are provided at their ends with permanent magnets. The balls are nickel plated and not magnetic themselves. The rods have a plus and a minus pole, so they tighten or repel each pole. Each ball can dock up to 14 sticks. With this principle can be built two-dimensional shapes such as three, four or even polygons. The third dimension is also quickly conquered: cubes and pyramids can be constructed in no time at all. Playfully, more and more complex forms are created that promote spatial understanding.

The different product lines of geomag

The Geomag Classic range includes several series. All have in common the basic design structure of magnetic rods and steel balls. Simple kits are already suitable for children from three years. Younger children should not play with Geomag because of the swallowable items. More complex products of the Geomag series require a higher age.

Geomag Color

The Geomag color kits contain magnetic plastic sticks in bold colors, which can be used to create small and larger structures. Colorful base elements ensure a high stability of the constructions. The smallest box of the Color series contains only 35 elements and therefore offers only limited possibilities. He is suitable for beginners. Color 127, on the other hand, contains a large number of colorful components for almost infinite design variants.

Geomag panels

Who wants to stabilize his self-constructed geometric shapes, which is perfectly equipped with these colorful panels. The transparent triangles, squares, pentagons and rhombuses are made of sturdy plastic. You can easily click between the rods and give the models a higher stability. Because the light shines through the transparent surfaces, the panels also provide great visual effects. All panels are provided with a central hole through which a stick can be inserted.
