Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner Guide

In the 1980s, the Briton James Dyson developed a vacuum cleanerwhich worked on the cyclone principle. He resented his former vacuum cleaner (1978) and decided to develop a vacuum cleaner that works better. The idea of using cyclones as filters came at the sight of an upside down cone in a sawmill. After five years, Dyson introduced the first bagless vacuum cleaner based on the cyclone separator principle. By 1985, Dyson developed the vacuum cleaner into a handy form and offered its vacuum cleaners for the first time in Japan. They were very expensive at that time and only since 1995 they are offered in Europe at affordable prices.

What is a Zyklon vacuum cleaner and what parts does it consist of?

A cyclone vacuum cleaner consists of 4 essential components:
from the upper inlet cylinder
from the cone in the middle of the device
from the particle collector or bunker located at the bottom
from the centrally mounted dip tube

The principle of Cyclone vacuum cleaner is to turn the aspirated air at high speed to ever-narrowing circles, creating air turbulence. The dirt particles are pressed against the wall of the container, which collect in a bagless collection container. The pre-cleaned air leaves the container via a paper central fine dust filter. In order not to reduce the suction power of the device by the clogged central filter, it must be replaced regularly with a new filter once a year.
Some vacuum cleaners collect the separated dust dry in the collecting container; other devices collect the dust in the water of the collecting container. As a result, too much dust is avoided when emptying the collecting container or bunker. Also other providers ask Cyclone vacuum cleaner which is now available with one or two cyclone stages. Dyson already offers a vacuum cleaner with three cyclone stages, which increases the separation efficiency and no paper-central fine dust filter is necessary. With increasing number of cyclones, the separated dust particles are getting smaller, so that the central filter can ultimately be omitted. Two- or three-fold cyclone stages cause the sucked air to be rotated just like the single cyclone vacuum cleaner and then cleaned again with cyclones. These cyclones are smaller and thus get into a much higher rotation, whereby the fine dirt particles are separated and collected in the collecting container.

Even men are enthusiastic about a cyclone vacuum cleaner

Since the vacuum cleaner does not need expensive bags and works energy-saving, follow-up costs are avoided and the possibly higher purchase price would be justified. Among the suppliers of cyclone vacuum cleaners you will find cleanmaxx with a 700 W device as a vacuum cleaner and a cyclone handheld vacuum cleaner Multi Sensation with 600 W with extensive additional accessories, such as a large and small round brush, Crevice nozzles, brush attachment, narrow suction tube, angle nozzle and tube extensions. The Philips Power Compakt energy class B has an average energy consumption of 33.8 kWh / year. The sound level is limited to 79 dB – even on hard floors. It is optimally equipped for allergy sufferers, because the EPA filter also binds microscopic pests and the foam filter is washable after use.

Although multicyclone vacuum cleaners are now being offered more and more cheaply, it is recommended that the bagless vacuum cleaner be thoroughly cleaned once a year, if possible, in order to prevent loss of suction power.
