Percussion, Composition

751 Conestoga Road
Rosemont, PA 19010

The combination of acoustic instruments is the unique trademark of MUSICTech. Students and teachers "risk take" with musical concepts and composition.

Activities with MUSICTech are based on a body of music and computer language vocabulary including: introductions to percussion instruments; improvisational and new/experimental music concepts; as well as hands-on sessions with the equipment, supplied by the artist, to reinforce the learning process.

The computer system allows for investigation of the composition process, culminating in a student-generated piece of music, possibly enhanced by a theatre, dance, or narration component.
