Afternoon Keynote Address
Rage Against the Dying of the Light
Most arts professionals don’t work solely for the money; we also work to create meaning for ourselves and others to achieve fulfillment. While a purpose-filled work life may make one willing to work harder, it won’t necessarily make one work smarter. In “Rage Against the Dying of the Light” Neill Archer Roan will speak about how strategic awareness, the savvy application of knowledge and skills, and purposeful work combine synergistically to make one significantly more effective and how they also protect against cynicism’s corrosive effect on the psyche, especially when working in times of constant turbulence. |
