The Delaware Division of the Arts offers grants to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations chartered and based in Delaware. Eligible funding categories include: General Operating Support, Public Impact, Technical Assistance, Arts Stabilization (capital renovations), Arts Education, and short-term Opportunity Grants.


Applications for Fiscal Year 2009

Delaware Division of the Arts grant applications and instructions for arts organizations are available in Microsoft Word, or in PDF (Portable Document Format) which can be downloaded using the free Acrobat Reader.

To apply in any grant category, you need to download both the "Instructions and Information" and the "Application" for that particular grant. Save the selected documents onto your computer's hard drive. You can then fill out the application form directly on your computer, print it out, and mail it in with the rest of your application packet. Facsimile (fax) or e-mail transmission of applications will not be accepted.

General Operating Support

Supports regular operating expenses for established arts organizations

Three options are available:

  1. General Operating Support: For previous grantees seeking one year of GOS funding and/or applying in Arts Stabilization or Technical Assistance categories

  2. Abbreviated: For applicants who have not previously received General Operating Support, or those preferring a more streamlined application process

  3. Interim Report: For applicants who were approved in FY08 for a two-year GOS application cycle, now seeking a second year of funding in FY09

2008 Final Evaluation Form
