The Delaware Division of the Arts offers grants to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations chartered and based in Delaware, and in good standing with the Delaware Division of Corporations. Currently available funding categories include: General Operating Support, Arts Stabilization (capital renovations), and Education Resource.


Applications for Fiscal Year 2010

Delaware Division of the Arts grant applications and instructions for arts organizations are available in Microsoft Word, or in PDF (Portable Document Format) which can be downloaded using the free Acrobat Reader.

To apply in any grant category, you need to download both the "Instructions and Information" and the "Application" for that particular grant. Save the selected documents onto your computer's hard drive. You can then fill out the application form directly on your computer, print it out, and mail it in with the rest of your application packet. Facsimile (fax) or e-mail transmission of applications will not be accepted.

Support and training for emerging arts organizations.

Entry into the STARTUP program is offered every other year. The next application cycle is scheduled for FY2011. Information on this program is available by contacting the Division of the Arts by email or at 302-577-8278.

Public Impact

Recognizes and encourages exemplary community impact initiatives by Delaware arts organizations.

Technical Assistance

Suspended for FY2010

Supports organizational capacity-building activities through hiring of consultants, facilitating mentoring opportunities, and attending professional development seminars and conferences.

2009 Final Evaluation Form
